Deep Drawing
What Is Deep Drawn Stamping?
Deep drawn stamping is a metal forming process used to transform flat sheet metal into deep, hollow, and seamless components with exceptional precision. By applying controlled mechanical force through a punch and die, the metal is drawn into a cavity to create cylindrical, box-shaped, or complex geometries without joints or welding.
As a highly efficient and cost-effective manufacturing method, deep drawn stamping is widely used in industries such as automotive, aerospace, electronics, medical devices, and consumer products.

Our Deep Drawing Capabilities
1. Engineering Review
Our engineering team carefully reviews your drawings, material requirements, tolerances, and production quantities to determine the best deep drawing solution. We evaluate draw ratios, wall thickness, forming feasibility, and secondary operations before production begins.
2. Tooling Design & Development
Based on your component structure, we design and manufacture precision dies, punches, and forming tools. Proper tooling design is critical to ensuring stable forming performance, accurate dimensions, and long production life.
3. Material Preparation
Metal coils or blanks are prepared according to the required material grade and thickness. Lubrication is applied when necessary to reduce friction during the deep drawing operation and improve surface quality.
4. Deep Drawing Forming
The metal blank is positioned on the die, and the punch gradually forces the material into the die cavity under controlled pressure. Multiple drawing stages may be used for deeper or more complex parts to prevent cracking and maintain dimensional accuracy.
5. Secondary Processing
After forming, additional operations such as trimming, piercing, threading, embossing, flanging, welding, polishing, or surface treatment can be performed according to project requirements.
6. Quality Inspection
Every part undergoes strict dimensional and appearance inspection to ensure compliance with customer specifications. We use precision measuring equipment to verify tolerances, wall thickness, surface finish, and structural integrity.
7. Packaging & Delivery
Finished components are carefully cleaned, packed, and prepared for shipment to ensure safe transportation and reliable delivery to your facility.
